     He was given the name of Martin George Charles Cowie at birth.2 He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) (B.A.) in Japanese.1 He graduated from Reading University, Reading, Berkshire, EnglandG, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)2 In 1987 his name was legally changed to Martin George Charles Gore.2 He lived in 1999 at 5-25-10 Kotokuji, Kagoshima, JapanG.1 He was a professor at Kagoshima University, Kagoshima, JapanG.2

     Lt.-Cdr. Nigel de Grey was born on 27 March 1886.2 He was the son of Rev. Hon. Arnald de Grey and Margaret Maria Ponsonby.1,2 He married Florence Emily Frances Gore, daughter of Spencer William Gore and Amy Margaret Smith, on 29 December 1910.1 He died on 25 May 1951 at age 65.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of First World War in the where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1 He gained the rank of Flight Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal NAval Air Service.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.2 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1945.2

     Rev. Hon. Arnald de Grey was born on 11 September 1856 at London, England.1,2 He was the son of Thomas de Grey, 5th Baron Walsingham and Hon. Emily Elizabeth Julia Thellusson.1 He married Margaret Maria Ponsonby, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Spencer Cecil Ponsonby-Fane and Hon. Louisa Anne Rose Lee Dillon, on 17 April 1882.1 He died on 15 November 1889 at age 33 at Hyeres, Var, France.1,2
     He was Rector at Copdock, England.1
