     Paul Haakonsson, Jarl of Orkney was born circa 1093 at Orkney Islands, Scotland. He was the son of Haakon Paulson, Jarl of Orkney and unknown wife (?)2 He died after 1137.3
     He succeeded as the Jarl of Orkney, jointly.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Caithness [S., 1014] circa 1131, jointly.1

     Harald I Haakonsson, Jarl of Orkney was born circa 1099 at Orkney Islands, Scotland. He was the son of Haakon Paulson, Jarl of Orkney and Helga of Dale.2 He died in December 1131.3
     He gained the title of Jarl of Orkney, jointly.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030].1 Harald I Haakonsson, Jarl of Orkney also went by the nick-name of Harald 'Slettmali' (or in English, 'the Smooth Spoken.1')

     Erlend Ugni Haraldsson, Earl of Caithness was born circa 1120 at Caithness, Scotland.2 He was the son of Harald I Haakonsson, Jarl of Orkney.3 He married Margaret of Orkney, daughter of Haakon Paulson, Jarl of Orkney and Helga of Dale, after 1152.4,5 He died on 21 December 1156 at Damsay, Orkney Islands, Scotland, killed by Harald Maddadson.6,5
     He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Caithness [S., 1030], jointly.1
