     Martha Lowther was born circa 1723 at County Westmeath, IrelandG.1 She was the daughter of William Lowther and Martha Vastine Laybourne.1 She married Joseph Carver, son of John Carver and Mary (?), on 7 November 1747 at Bucks County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.G.1 She died on 7 November 1774.1
     From 7 November 1747, her married name became Carver.1
