     Martha Vastine Laybourne was born in 1691 at Tober, County Offaly, Ireland.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Laybourne and Rachel Marchant.1 She married William Lowther, son of William Lowther and Isabel Lancaster.2 She died in 1748 at Buckingham, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.1
     Her married name became Lowther.2 She and Sarah Lowther emigrated to Pennsylvania, U.S.A., arriving on 1727.1

     She and Martha Vastine Laybourne emigrated to Pennsylvania, U.S.A., arriving on 1727.2 From 22 January 1733/34, her married name became Ely.1
