     Brigadier Hugh Nugent Leveson-Gower was born on 1 July 1900.1 He was the son of Philip Leveson-Gower and Eleanor Marcia Norah Nugent.1 He married, firstly, Avril Joy Mullens, daughter of Sir John Ashley Mullens and Evelyne Maude Adamson, on 28 March 1934.1 He and Avril Joy Mullens were divorced in 1948.1 He married, secondly, Rachel Grotrian, daughter of Major Harold Hunter Grotrian and Phyllis Catherine Durrant, on 8 June 1949.3
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery.1 He was Captain and Aide-de-Camp to the GOC-in-Command Allied Forces, Constantinople between 1919 and 1922.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1945, in Burma, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1

     Avril Joy Mullens was born in 1909 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1,3 She was the daughter of Sir John Ashley Mullens and Evelyne Maude Adamson.4,1 She married, firstly, Prince George Imertinsky before 1934.5 She married, secondly, Brigadier Hugh Nugent Leveson-Gower, son of Philip Leveson-Gower and Eleanor Marcia Norah Nugent, on 28 March 1934.4 She and Brigadier Hugh Nugent Leveson-Gower were divorced in 1948.4 She married, thirdly, Ernest Aldrich Simpson, son of Ernest Louis Simpson and Charlotte Gaines, on 12 August 1948 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 28 November 1978 at MexicoG, killed in a car crash.1
     From before 1934, her married name became Imertinsky.5 Her married name became Leveson-Gower. From 12 August 1948, her married name became Simpson.1

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1949 in the Sherwood Foresters.1 He was member of the London Stock Exchange in 1954.1 He was partner of L.
