     Elizabeth Heron-Maxwell was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir John Shaw Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 4th Bt. and Mary Heron.1,2 She married Sir James Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 1st Bt. and Susan Hay, on 27 September 1819.1,3 She died on 10 February 1821, in childbirth.1,4,3 She was also reported to have died on 14 February 1821.3
     From 27 September 1819, her married name became Dalrymple-Hay.1

     Lt.-Gen. Sir John Shaw Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 4th Bt. was born on 29 June 1772.2 He was the son of Sir William Maxwell of Springkell, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stewart.2 He married Mary Heron, daughter of Patrick Heron of Heron and Lady Elizabeth Cochrane, on 4 January 1802.2 He died on 29 January 1830 at age 57.2
     He was also known as John Shaw Maxwell.2 He was also known as John Shaw Heron-Maxwell of Springkell.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dumfries Burghs between 1803 and 1812.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Maxwell, of Springkell [N.S., 1683] on 4 March 1804.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 23rd Light Dragoons.2

     Anne Hathorn was born on 17 June 1800 at London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of George Hathorn and Sarah Donaldson.1,2 She married Sir James Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 2nd Bt., son of Sir John Dalrymple-Hay of Park Place, 1st Bt. and Susan Hay, on 31 March 1823 at St. Pancras New Church, London, England.1 She died on 10 July 1838 at age 38.1
     From March 1823, her married name became Dalrymple-Hay.1
