     Sir Benjamin Barrington, 8th Bt. was born on 23 January 1950.1 He is the son of Major John William Barrington and Annie Wetten.1 He married Carola Christel Mogck in 1980.1
     He lived in 2003 at 44 Cherovan Drive SW, Calgary, Alberta, CanadaG.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Barrington, of the City of Limerick [U.K., 1831] on 6 February 2003.1

     Joan Cromwell was the daughter of Sir Henry Cromwell and Joan Warren.1 She married Sir Francis Barrington, 1st Bt., son of Sir Thomas Barrington and Winifred Pole.1 She died circa 1641.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 14 December 1641.1
     Her married name became Barrington.1

     Joan Warren was born in 1524 at Huntingdonshire, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Sir Ralph Warren.1 She married Sir Henry Cromwell, son of Sir Richard Cromwell and Frances Murfyn.3 She died in 1584.2
     Her married name became Cromwell.3

     Sir Thomas Barrington, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Francis Barrington, 1st Bt. and Joan Cromwell.1 He married, secondly, Judith Lytton, daughter of Sir Rowland Lytton and Hon. Anne St. John.1 He married, firstly, Francis Gobert, daughter of John Gobert, before 1605.1 He died circa September 1644.1
     He was appointed Knight before 1621.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown between 1621 and 1629.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Barrington, of Barrington Hall [in Hatfield Broadoak], co. Essex [E., 1611] on 3 July 1628.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Essex between April 1640 and May 1640.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Colchester between 1640 and 1644.1
