Dorothy Hugessen was born on 8 November 1758.1 She was the daughter of William Western Hugessen and Thomazine Honywood.1 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Joseph Banks, 1st and last Bt., son of William Banks and Sarah Bate, on 23 March 1779 at St. Andrew's Church, Holborn, London, EnglandG.1 She died before July 1828.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in July 1828.1

Sir John Honywood, 3rd Bt. was the son of William Honywood and Frances Raleigh.2 He married, firstly, Annabella Goodenough, daughter of William Goodenough and Elizabeth Southby.3 He married, secondly, Dorothy Filmer, daughter of Sir Edward Filmer, 3rd Bt. and Mary Wallis, in 1742.3 He died on 26 June 1781.3
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Honywood, of Evington, co. Kent [E., 1660] on 1 June 1748.3 He held the office of Sheriff of Kent in 1752.3 In 1754 he succeeded to his kinsman Frazer Honywood's seats at Malling Abbey, Kent, and Hampstead.3

Thomas Christopher Banks was born in 1765.1 He was the son of Thomas Banks and unknown Shuter.1 He married unknown Weston.1 He died on 30 September 1854 at Greenwich, London, EnglandG.1
He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy, serving on H.M.S. Renown.1 He was admitted to Inner Temple.1 He wrote the book Dormant and Extinct Baronage of England, published between 1807 and 1809, in 4 volumes.1 He was a genealogist between 1813 and 1820 at Lyon's Inn, London, EnglandG.1 He was a genealogist after 1820 at Dormant Peerage Office, Pall Mall, London, EnglandG.1 In 1830 he assisted a Mr Humphreys in his claim to the Earldom of Stirling, although the supporting documents were later found to be forgeries.1 On 14 July 1831 he claimed to have received a Baronetcy of Nova Scotia from the Earl of Stirling.1 In 1837 he unsuccessfully petitioned Queen Victoria for recognition of his supposed Baronetcy.1 He wrote the book Baronia Anglia, or Account of the Baronies in fee, published 1844, in 2 volumes.1
