     Sir Andrew Clarence Francis Armstrong, 6th Bt. was born on 1 May 1907.1 He was the son of Edmund Clarence Richard Armstrong and Mary Frances Cruise.1 He married, firstly, Phyllis Marguerite Waithman, daughter of Lt.-Col. Roland Henry Waithman, on 8 January 1930.1 He married, secondly, Laurel May Stuart, daughter of Alfred Wellington Stuart, on 17 June 1932.1 He died on 21 December 1997 at age 90.1
     He was educated at St. Edmund's, Ware, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1928 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a colonial administrator between 1929 and 1961.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1959.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Armstrong, of Gallen Priory, King's Co. [U.K., 1841] on 27 January 1987.1

     Edmund Clarence Richard Armstrong was born on 23 February 1879.1 He was the son of Captain Andrew Charles Armstrong and Alice Maria Murdoch.1 He married Mary Frances Cruise, daughter of Sir Francis Richard Cruise, on 10 February 1906.1 He died on 29 March 1923 at age 44.1
     He was Keeper of Irish Antiquities between 1914 and 1923 at National Museum, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was admitted to Member, Royal Irish Academy (M.R.I.A.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He held the office of Pursivant of Arms in 1923.1

     Captain Andrew Charles Armstrong was born on 5 February 1845.1 He was the son of Sir Andrew Armstrong, 1st Bt. and Frances Fullerton.1 He married, firstly, Alice Maria Murdoch, daughter of Sir Thomas William Clinton Murdoch, on 5 February 1874.1 He married, secondly, Annie Beatrice Lorimer, daughter of John Lorimer, on 25 July 1888.2 He died on 5 October 1895 at age 50.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Foot.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Prince of Wale's Leinster Regiment.1

     Sir Andrew Armstrong, 1st Bt. was born on 19 October 1785.1 He was the son of Edmund Armstrong and Elizabeth Trench.1 He married Frances Fullerton, daughter of George Alexander Fullerton, on 1 January 1835.1 He died on 27 January 1863 at age 77.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1811.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's County Militia.1 He held the office of Receiver-General of Stamp Duties.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1836.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1841 and 1852.1 He was created 1st Baronet Armstrong, of Gallen Priory, King's Co. [U.K.] on 18 September 1841.1

     Edmund Armstrong was born on 14 December 1754.1 He was the son of Andrew Armstrong and Constance Maria Pigott.1 He married Elizabeth Trench, daughter of Frederick Trench and Mary Sadleir, on 4 February 1783.1 He died on 12 December 1827 at age 72.1
     He was a barrister in 1779.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of King's County in 1818.1 He lived at Gallen, County Offaly, IrelandG.1
