     Arthur Plantagenet, 1st Viscount Lisle was born between 1461 and 1464 illegitimately.1 He was the son of Edward IV Plantagenet, King of England and Elizabeth Waite.1 He was baptised in September 1486 with Thomas FitzAlan, 10th/17th Earl of Arundel as his godparent(s.)2 He married Elizabeth Grey, 6th Baroness Lisle, daughter of Edward Grey, 1st Viscount Lisle and Elizabeth Talbot, Baroness Lisle, on 12 November 1511.3 He married Honora Grenville, daughter of Sir Thomas Grenville. He died on 3 March 1542 at Tower of London, The City, London, EnglandG.1
     He was created 1st Viscount Lisle [England] on 25 August 1523.4 Arthur wrote the 'Lisle Letters', available in six volumes.
