Frances Ball1

     Frances Ball was born in 1719 at Barbados.2 She was the daughter of Guy Ball and Katherine Hole.1,3 She married, secondly, Admiral Francis Holburne, son of Sir James Holburne, 1st Bt. and Jean Spittal.1 She married, firstly, Edward Lascelles, son of Daniel Lascelles and Mary Lascelles, on 1 January 1732 at St. Michael's, Bridgetown, Barbados.4,2 She died on 18 May 1761.1
     Her married name became Holbourne.1 Her married name became Lascelles.

     General Francis Lascelles was born on 1 November 1744.1 He was the son of Edward Lascelles and Frances Ball.1 He died in 1799, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Groom of the Bedchamber to King George III.1

     Daniel Lascelles was born on 6 November 1655.1 He was the son of Francis Lascelles and Frances St. Quintin.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Metcalfe, daughter of William Metcalfe.1 He married, secondly, Mary Lascelles, daughter of Edward Lascelles.1 He died on 5 September 1734 at age 78.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northallerton.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire in 1719.1 He lived at Stank Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Northallerton, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

     Margaret Metcalfe was the daughter of William Metcalfe.1 She married Daniel Lascelles, son of Francis Lascelles and Frances St. Quintin.1 She died circa December 1690.1 She was buried on 20 December 1690.1

George Lascelles1
