     Rowland Winsley Chesterfield was born on 23 August 1811.2 He was the son of Reverend Robert Chatfield and Susannah Money.3 He married Gertrude Trevor Tyler, daughter of George Peter Tyler and Anna Long, on 22 March 1834.2 He died on 23 December 1891 at age 80.2
     He was in the Madras Civil Service.1 He was also known as Rowland Winsley Chatfield.2

     Jeanie Duffield was the daughter of John Milner Duffield.1 She married Colonel Bernard Rowland Ward, son of Lt.-Col. Bernard Edward Ward and Gertrude Maria Chesterfield, on 5 December 1891.1 She died on 11 April 1925.1
     From 5 December 1891, her married name became Ward.1
