     Mary Ellen Vere O'Brien was the daughter of Hon. Robert O'Brien and Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy de Vere.¹ She married Charles Spencer Perceval, son of Dudley Montagu Perceval and Mary Jane Bourke, on 2 January 1868.¹ She died on 19 June 1924.¹
      From 2 January 1868, her married name became Perceval.

     Elinor Jane Alicia Lucy de Vere was born circa 1813. She was the daughter of Sir Aubrey de Vere, 2nd Bt. and Mary Rice.² She married Hon. Robert O'Brien, son of Sir Edward O'Brien, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Smith, on 14 February 1835.¹ She died on 5 March 1889.¹
      Her married name became O'Brien.

     Sir Aubrey de Vere, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 August 1788.² He was the son of Sir Vere Hunt, 1st Bt. and Hon. Eleanor Pery.² He married Mary Rice.² He died on 5 July 1846 at age 57.²
     He gained the title of 2nd Baronet de Vere, Curragh Chase, co. Limerick.

     Dudley Perceval was born on 9 August 1874.¹ He was the son of Charles Spencer Perceval and Mary Ellen Vere O'Brien.¹ He married Hon. Mary Elizabeth Massey, daughter of Lionel Edward Massey, 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Elizabeth Ellen Bannatyne, on 6 July 1914.¹ He died on 31 January 1956 at age 81.¹

     Hon. Mary Elizabeth Massey was born in 1878. She was the daughter of Lionel Edward Massey, 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Elizabeth Ellen Bannatyne.¹ She married Dudley Perceval, son of Charles Spencer Perceval and Mary Ellen Vere O'Brien, on 6 July 1914.¹ She died on 16 December 1960.¹
      Her married name became Perceval.

     Lionel Edward Massey, 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park was born on 20 April 1837.¹ He was the son of Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Susan Elizabeth Barton.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Ellen Bannatyne, daughter of Alexander Bannatyne, on 24 November 1877 at St. Peter's Church, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.¹ He married, secondly, Sophia Mary Butler, daughter of James Butler and Sophia Maria Irvine, on 23 August 1887 at Sixmilebridge Church, County Clare, Ireland.¹ He died on 13 October 1922 at age 85 at Lawday House, Farnham, Surrey, England.² His will was probated in September 1923, at £34,270.²
     He gained the rank of officer in 1855 in the service of the Scots Fusilier Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1866.¹ He retired from the military in 1870.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of County Limerick in 1896.¹ He succeeded to the title of 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park, co. Limerick [I., 1800] on 16 December 1897.¹

     Elizabeth Ellen Bannatyne was the daughter of Alexander Bannatyne.¹ She married Lionel Edward Massey, 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park, son of Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Susan Elizabeth Barton, on 24 November 1877 at St. Peter's Church, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.¹ She died on 13 January 1883 at Algiers, Algeria.¹
      From 24 November 1877, her married name became Massey.¹

     Alexander Bannatyne lived at Woodsdown, County Limerick, Ireland.¹

     Sophia Mary Butler was born circa 1856.¹ She was the daughter of James Butler and Sophia Maria Irvine.¹ She married Lionel Edward Massey, 5th Baron Clarina of Elm Park, son of Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Susan Elizabeth Barton, on 23 August 1887 at Sixmilebridge Church, County Clare, Ireland.¹ She died on 29 August 1912.¹
      From 23 August 1887, her married name became Massey. As a result of her marriage, Sophia Mary Butler was styled as Baroness Clarina of Elm Park on 16 December 1897.

     James Butler lived at Castle Crine, County Clare, Ireland.¹
