Mary Anne Grant was the daughter of Colquhoun Grant.1 She married Vice-Admiral Hon. Augustus Charles Hobart-Hampden, son of Augustus Edward Hobart-Hampden, 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire and Mary Williams, in 1848.1 She died on 13 April 1877.1

William Terence Webb McCarthy was the son of Frank McCarthy.1 He married Lucy Sybil Hobart-Hampden, daughter of Arthur Ernest Hobart-Hampden and Henrietta Louisa Fetherstonhaugh, on 3 December 1923.1 He died on 6 January 1944 at Italy, while on active service.1
