Henry de Neville1

     Henry de Neville was born before 1193. He was the son of Geoffrey (VI) de Neville and Emma de Bulmer.1 He married Alice (?)1 He died in 1227, without issue.1
     In 1197/98 he paid £20 for having his father's lands held otherwise than in chief.2 On 7 August 1199 he did homage to King John, receiving confirmation of the grant to his father in Ashby and Toynton.2 In February 1216 he was one of the Barons of the North who King John demanded should pledge him loyalty.1 In 1225 he was one of the escort to York of the money collected for the fifteenth in Northumberland and Durham.2
