     Colonel Robert Singleton McClintock is the son of Admiral Sir Francis Leopold McClintock.2 He married Mary Howard Elphinstone, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Howard Crauford Elphinstone, V.C. and Annie Cole, in 1909.2 He married (Wilhelmina) Diana Lenox-Conyngham, daughter of William Arbuthnot Lenox-Conyngham, on 2 April 1965.3
     Colonel Robert Singleton McClintock gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He lived at Brakey Hill, Godstone, Surrey, England.1 He was decorated with the award of Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).1 He was Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).3 He was Doctor of Law (LL.D.)
