     Maj.-Gen. William Vesey Brownlow was born on 12 June 1841.3 He was the son of William Brownlow and Charlotte Browne.1,2 He married, firstly, Lady Anne Henrietta Dalrymple, daughter of John Hamilton Dalrymple, 10th Earl of Stair and Louisa Jane Henrietta Emily de Franquetot, on 19 November 1881.4 He married, secondly, Lady Kathleen Susan Emma Bligh, daughter of John Stuart Bligh, 6th Earl of Darnley and Lady Harriet Mary Pelham, on 1 June 1904.1 He died on 15 March 1928 at age 86, without issue.1
     Maj.-Gen. William Vesey Brownlow gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the 1st Dragoon Guards.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.).1

     William Brownlow is the son of Reverend Francis Brownlow and Lady Catherine Brabazon.2 He married Charlotte Browne, daughter of William Browne and Lady Charlotte Bourke, in 1835.3 He died on 18 July 1881.3
     William Brownlow held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Queen's County.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Queen's County.3 He lived at Knapton House, County Laois, Ireland.3
