Elizabeth Adeline Mary Bligh, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold) was born on 22 January 1900.1 She was the daughter of Edward Henry Stuart Bligh, 7th Earl of Darnley and Jemima Adeline Beatrice Blackwood.1 She died on 5 July 1937 at age 37, unmarried.2
Elizabeth Adeline Mary Bligh, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold) succeeded to the title of 17th Baroness Clifton, of Leighton Bromswold [E., 1608] on 31 October 1900, suo jure.1 She was admitted to Lincoln's Inn in 1926 entitled to practice as a Barrister-at-Law.2
