     He was educated in 1775 at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire between 1783 and 1784.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1786.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cheshire between 1806 and 1830.¹

     John Fielder married Genevieve Sonia Cheverton, daughter of Graham Charles George Cheverton and Catherine Mary Hood, in 1984.¹ He died in January 2002.¹
