     Hon. Hugh Trenchard was born on 6 June 1921.1 He was the son of Air Marshal Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard and Katherine Isabel Salvin Bowlby.1 He died on 17 March 1943 at age 21 at Tunisia, killed in action.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England, Eton.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Battalion, Grenadier Guards.2

     Thomas Trenchard, 2nd Viscount Trenchard was born on 15 December 1923.2 He was the son of Air Marshal Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard and Katherine Isabel Salvin Bowlby.2 He married Patricia Scott Bailey, daughter of Admiral Sir Sidney Robert Bailey, on 19 June 1948.2 He died in 1987.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.2 He was director of T Wall and Sons Ltd between 1953 and 1966.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Trenchard, of Wolfeton, co. Dorset [U.K., 1919] on 10 February 1956.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Trenchard [U.K., 1936] on 10 February 1956.3 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Trenchard, of Wolfeton, co.      Patricia Scott Bailey was born in 1925.1 She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Sidney Robert Bailey.2 She married Thomas Trenchard, 2nd Viscount Trenchard, son of Air Marshal Hugh Montague Trenchard, 1st Viscount Trenchard and Katherine Isabel Salvin Bowlby, on 19 June 1948.2 She died on 22 January 2016.1
     Her married name became Trenchard. After her marriage, Patricia Scott Bailey was styled as Viscountess Trenchard on 10 February 1956. She lived in 2003 at Abdale House, North Mymms, Hertfordshire, England.2
