     Adeline Hilda Astley was born on 11 December 1876. She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir John Dugdale Astley, 3rd Bt. and Eleanor Blanche Mary Corbett. She married Gerard Chapman on 11 October 1902. She died on 1 March 1943 at age 66.
     Her married name became Chapman.

He married Marjorie Gertrude Marcia Astley-Corbett, daughter of Sir Francis Edmund George Astley, 4th Bt. and Lady Gertrude Augusta Anderson-Pelham, on 6 April 1907. He died on 16 April 1947.
