     John Pryse Howell Lovenden Pryse was born on 12 March 1897.¹ He was the son of Sir Lewes Thomas Lovedon Pryse, 3rd Bt. and Florence Madeline Howell.¹ He married, firstly, Enid Gwen Pollock Horne, daughter of Henry Walters Horne, on 18 March 1918.¹ He and Enid Gwen Pollock Horne were divorced in 1932.¹ He married, secondly, Cordula Martha Maria Kirchner, daughter of Alexander Kirchner, on 20 April 1932.¹ He died on 17 June 1934 at age 37.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Glamorgan Yeomanry.¹

     Enid Gwen Pollock Horne is the daughter of Henry Walters Horne.¹ She married, firstly, Major Charles Stewart Holland.¹ She married, secondly, John Pryse Howell Lovenden Pryse, son of Sir Lewes Thomas Lovedon Pryse, 3rd Bt. and Florence Madeline Howell, on 18 March 1918.¹ She and John Pryse Howell Lovenden Pryse were divorced in 1932.¹

     Gwendoline Marjorie Powell was the daughter of Colonel David Powell.¹ She married Sir Lewes Thomas Lovedon Pryse, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Pryse Pryse, 1st Bt. and Louisa Joan Lewes, on 29 October 1938.¹ She died on 4 June 1954.¹
