     John Milton Simpson was born on 25 December 1873.¹ He was the son of John Bell Simpson and Annie Elizabeth Thomlinson.¹ He married Alice Mary Wilson, daughter of William Berry Wilson.¹ He died on 31 July 1958 at age 84, without issue.¹

     Claude Frank Bell Simpson was born on 4 January 1892.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Frank Robert Simpson, 1st Bt. and Alice Matilda Draper.¹ He died on 3 December 1917 at age 25, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry (TA.)¹

     Sir Basil Robert James Simpson, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 February 1898.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Frank Robert Simpson, 1st Bt. and Alice Matilda Draper.¹ He died on 19 August 1968 at age 70, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Durham Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Simpson, of Bradley Hall, Ryton, Parish in the County Palatine of Durham [U.K., 1935] on 29 April 1949.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1954.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for COunty Durham.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Durham in 1955.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Durham in 1956.¹

     Sir John Cyril Finucane Simpson, 3rd Bt. was born on 10 February 1899.¹ He was the son of Colonel Sir Frank Robert Simpson, 1st Bt. and Alice Matilda Draper.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Lambert, daughter of Frank J. Lambert, on 27 January 1936.¹ He and Elizabeth Lambert were divorced in 1944.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Teresa Harvey, daughter of Captain John Sutherland Harvey, on 24 January 1945.¹ He died on 21 December 1981 at age 82.²
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Naval Air Service.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He was a stockbroker.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Simpson, of Bradley Hall, Ryton, Parish in the County Palatine of Durham [U.K., 1935] on 19 August 1968.¹ On his death his baronetcy became extinct.²

     Stella Simpson was born in 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Sir Frank Robert Simpson, 1st Bt. and Alice Matilda Draper.¹
