     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Cheshire Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Richardson, of Weybridge, co. Surrey [U.K., 1929] on 15 November 1973.² On his death his baronetcy became extinct.¹
