     Hubert Charles Meysey-Thompson was born on 9 June 1883.¹ He was the son of Albert Childers Meysey-Thompson and Mabel Louisa Lascelles.¹ He married Millicent Mary Blake, daughter of Edmund Wallace Blake, on 12 August 1936.¹ He died on 9 November 1956 at age 73, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1905 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1907 entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was Legal Chancery Visitor of Lunatics in 1928.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.¹
