     Elizabeth Turton was the daughter of John Turton and Mary Meysey.1 She married Richard John Thompson, son of Henry Thompson and Mary Spence, on 5 August 1803.1 She died on 20 February 1840.2
     From 5 August 1803, her married name became Thompson.1
