     Thomas Woods Knollys was born on 6 December 1727 at Hawkmore StreetG.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Knollys and Martha Hughes.1 He was baptised on 15 January 1727/28 at Cowley, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He married Mary Porter, daughter of William Porter, on 30 March 1761 at St. Thomas's, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 18 March 1793 at age 65 at Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was buried on 27 March 1793 at Winchester Cathedral, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 3rd Regiment of Foot.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Banbury, co. Oxford [E., 1626] on 29 August 1776.1

     Mary Porter was the daughter of William Porter.1 She married Thomas Woods Knollys, son of Reverend Charles Knollys and Martha Hughes, on 30 March 1761 at St. Thomas's, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 22 March 1798.1 She was buried on 2 April 1798 at Winchester Cathedral, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.2
     From 30 March 1761, her married name became Knollys.1

     Sir John Hales, 4th Bt. was born in 1672.2 He was the son of Sir Edward Hales, 3rd Bt. and Frances Windebank.3 He married, secondly, Helen Bagnall, daughter of Ducley Bagnall.2 He married, firstly, Mary Catherine Bealing, daughter of Sir Richard Bealing, in 1695.2 He died on 20 January 1744.2
     He lived at St. Stephens, Tunstall, Kent, EnglandG. He gained the title of 4th Baronet Hales, of Woodchurch, Kent.1

He married Dinah Frankland, daughter of Sir Thomas Frankland, 3rd Bt. and Dinah Topham, on 16 January 1744/45.2 He died on 19 September 1772 at age 54 at SpelsburyG.
     He gained the title of 3rd Earl of Lichfield.
