Reverend Roper Trevor Tyler was born in April 1801. He was the son of Admiral Sir Charles Tyler and Margaret Leach. He married Isabel Bruce Pryce on 9 August 1838. He died on 19 February 1885 at age 83.

Lt.-Gen. Robert Christopher Mansel was born on 12 February 1789.1 He was the son of Sir William Mansel, 9th Bt. and Mary Philipps.2 He married Emilia Tyler, daughter of Admiral Sir Charles Tyler and Anne Rice, on 2 September 1824.1 He died on 8 April 1864 at age 75.1
