     From 18 October 1922, her married name became Cope.1

Sir Mordaunt Leckonby Cope, 16th Bt.1

     Sir Mordaunt Leckonby Cope, 16th Bt. was born on 12 February 1878.1 He was the son of Sir Anthony Cope, 13th Bt. and Mary Leckonby Phipps.1 He married, firstly, Frances Muriel Darby, daughter of Alfred Edmund William Darby, on 17 July 1917.2 He married, secondly, Eveline Bishop, daughter of Alfred Eaton Bishop, on 18 April 1936.2 He died in 1972.3
     On his death his baronetcy became extinct.3 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)2 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was wounded and was mentioned in dispatches.2 He succeeded as the 16th Baronet Cope, of Hanwell, co. Oxford [E., 1611] on 13 May 1966.1

     From 16 July 1903, her married name became Stephenson.1
