     Hon. Margaret Louisa Verney was the daughter of Robert John Verney, 17th Lord Willoughby de Broke and Georgiana Jane Taylor.¹ She married Jervoise Smith, son of John Abel Smith and Anne Jervoise, on 30 September 1874.¹ She died on 8 April 1920.¹
     From 30 September 1874, her married name became Smith.¹
