     Patrick Leslie was born on 25 September 1815 at Warthill, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of William Leslie, 10th of Warthill and 8th of Folla and Jane Davidson.1 He married Catherine Macarthur, daughter of Hannibal Hawkins Macarthur, on 9 September 1840 at Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia.1 He died on 12 August 1881 at age 65 at Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.1
     He held the office of Member of the Legislative Assembly (M.L.A.) [New South WAles] in 1857, for Moreton, Wide Bay and Maranoa.1
