Patrick Emilius John Greville-Nugent was born on 6 August 1852.1 He was the son of Fulke Southwell Greville-Nugent, 1st Baron Greville of Clonyn and Lady Rosa Emily Mary Anne Nugent.1 He married Ermengarde Ogilvy, daughter of Augustus Ogilvy, on 5 June 1882.1 He died on 27 February 1925 at age 72.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Westmeath Militia.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Westmeath in 1884.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Clonyn Castle, Delvin, County Westmeath, Ireland.1
