     Mary Thompson is the daughter of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Boulden Thompson, 1st Bt. and Anne Raikes.1 She married Reverend Anderton Smith on 10 July 1845.1
     From 10 July 1845, her married name became Smith.1

     Sir Richard Strode was born in 1584.1 He was the son of Sir William Strode and Mary Southcote.1 He married, thirdly, Anne Drake, daughter of Sir John Drake and Hon. Eleanor Boteler.1 He married, firstly, Katherine Strode, daughter of Sir Robert Strode, circa 1597.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Earle, daughter of Thomas Earle, circa 1612.1 He died in 1669.1
     He lived at Newnham, Devon, England. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bere Alston in 1604.1 He was educated at St. John's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was appointed Knight on 14 March 1604.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridport in 1626.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1640.1
