     George William Lloyd was born on 4 March 1861.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Lloyd and Anne Eliza Roy.1 He married Mabel Jane Campbell, daughter of Reverend Dawson Campbell, on 26 January 1922.1 He died on 4 January 1934 at age 72.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1886 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of the North Riding, Yorkshire in 1909.1 He lived at Stockton Hall, York, Yorkshire, England.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.1
