     Adam Fergusson was born [20 June 1723 O.S.] on 1 July 1723 at Logierait, Scotland.1 He was the son of Reverend Adam Ferguson and Mary Gordon.2 He married Catherine Burnett, daughter of James Burnett and Isabella Black, in 1766.2 He died on 22 February 1816 at age 92 at St. Andrews, Fife, Scotland.1
     He was a Professor at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2

     Mabel Agard was born circa 1485 at Foston Hall, Foston, Nottinghamshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Ralph Agard and Elizabeth Hussey.1 She married John Cosbie, son of Robert Cossebye and Isabella Pare, in 1507 at Great Leake, Nottinghamshire, England.1 She died in 1513.1
     From 1507, her married name became Cosbie.1
