     Henrietta Ann Bidgood Martin was the daughter of Reverend Charles Herbert Martin.1 She married Sir Samuel White Baker, son of Samuel Baker and Mary Dobson, on 3 August 1842.1 She died on 29 December 1855 at Bagnères-de-Bigorre, France, from typhus fever.1
     From 3 August 1842, her married name became Baker.1
