     Reverend Ernest Archibald Hone was born on 31 March 1883.1 He was the son of Reverend Evelyn Joseph Hone and Constance Jane Monro.1 He married Maud Monier-Williams, daughter of Frederick Monier-Williams.1 He died on 16 August 1965 at age 82, without issue.1
     He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1906 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was Rector at Esher, Surrey, England.1 He was a missionary at Malaysia.1 He held the office of Canon of Guildford.1

     She was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)1 From 26 May 1914, her married name became Mure.1
