     Meriel Cornelia Talbot was born on 27 January 1935. She is the daughter of Thomas George Talbot and Hon. Cynthia Edith Guest. She married Dr. Robert David Hugh Boyd, son of Professor James Dixon Boyd.¹

     Hon. Paul Asquith was born on 4 January 1927. He was the son of Cyril Asquith, Baron Asquith of Bishopstone and Anne Stephanie Pollock.¹ He married, firstly, Helena Mary Bridgeman, daughter of Brigadier Hon. Geoffrey John Orlando Bridgeman and Mary Meriel Gertrude Talbot, on 18 July 1953.¹ He and Helena Mary Bridgeman were divorced in 1963.¹ He married, secondly, Caroline Anne Carew Pole, daughter of Sir John Gawen Carew Pole, 12th Bt. and Cynthia Mary Burns, on 16 July 1963.² He died in 1984.¹
