     Gillian Stockwell is the daughter of Colonel George Cochrane Stockwell and Evelyn Dorothy Heywood.1,2 She married John Mervyn Manningham-Buller, 2nd Viscount Dilhorne, son of Reginald Edward Manningham-Buller, 1st Viscount Dilhorne and Lady Mary Lilian Lindsay, on 8 October 1955.1 She and John Mervyn Manningham-Buller, 2nd Viscount Dilhorne were divorced in 1973.1
     Her married name became Manningham-Buller. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Wiltshire in 1964.1

     Sir Godfrey Nicholson, 1st and last Bt. was born on 9 December 1901.2 He was the son of Richard Francis Nicholson and Helen Violet Portal.2 He married Lady Katharine Constance Lindsay, daughter of David Alexander Edward Lindsay, 27th Earl of Crawford and Constance Lilian Pelly, on 30 June 1936.2 He died on 14 July 1991 at age 89.2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1925 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservate) for Morpeth between 1931 and 1935.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Farnham between 1937 and 1966.2 He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Fusiliers and Commandos.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942.2 He was created 1st Baronet Nicholson, of Winterbourne, co.      Richard Francis Nicholson was born on 7 October 1865.1 He was the son of William Nicholson and Isabella Sarah Meek.2 He married Helen Violet Portal, daughter of Reverend George Raymond Portal and Helen Mary Charlotte Soulsby, on 31 August 1897.2 He died on 6 May 1940 at age 74.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1894 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He lived at Woodcott House, Whitchurch, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
