     William Holman Hunt was born on 2 April 1827 at Wood Street, Cheapside, London, England.3 He was the son of William Hunt and Sarah Holman.3 He married Fanny Waugh, daughter of George Waugh, in 1865.3 He married Marion Edith Waugh, daughter of George Waugh, in 1875.3 He died on 7 September 1910 at age 83.3
     He was a painter.1 He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.) in 1905.3
