     Sir Samuel Garrard, 4th Bt. was born in 1650.¹ He was the son of Sir John Garrard, 2nd Bt. and Jane Lambard.¹ He married Elizabeth Poyner on 16 October 1675.¹ He married Jane Bennett, daughter of Thomas Bennett, on 22 January 1688/89.¹ He died on 10 March 1724.¹
     He gained the title of 4th Baronet Garrard. He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Hertfordshire.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Amersham in 1702.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Amersham from 1707 to 1708.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London from 1708 to 1710.¹
