Sir Edmund Aleyn, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1632.2 He was the son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller.2 He married Frances Gent, daughter of Thomas Gent, on 1 May 1651 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields Church, London, England.1 He died on 2 November 1656, without male issue.2 He was buried at Hatfield Church, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.1

Frances Gent was born in 1636.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Gent.1 She married Sir Edmund Aleyn, 2nd Bt., son of Edmund Aleyn and Mary Miller, on 1 May 1651 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields Church, London, England.1 She died on 16 January 1657.1 She was buried at Hatfield Church, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.1 Her will (dated 15 January 1657) was probated on 1 February 1657/58.1
