     Major Frederick Charles Napier Goldney was born on 9 September 1847 at India.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Phillip Goldney and Mary Louisa Holbrow.¹ He married Edith Caroline Wilkins on 1 March 1877 at St. Mary's Church, Ealing, London, England.¹ He died in 1941.¹
