George Frederick Greville was born on 11 September 1842.1 He was the son of Fulke Southwell Greville-Nugent, 1st Baron Greville of Clonyn and Lady Rosa Emily Mary Anne Nugent.1 He married Cecil Aitcheson Hankey, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Henry Aitcheson Hankey and Caroline Maria Robarts, on 17 August 1870.1 He died on 11 May 1897 at age 54, without issue.1
