     He was educated in 1892 at Newcastle Grammar School, Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 In November 1903 he was sentenced to three months goal for writing a bad cheque.1 He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1917, in the Australian Imperial Forces.1

     Arthur James Plunkett, 7th Earl of Fingall was born in July 1731.1 He was the son of Robert Plunkett, 6th Earl of Fingall and Mary Magenis.1 He married Henrietta Maria Wollascot, daughter of William Wollascot, on 19 March 1755.1 He died on 21 August 1793 at age 62.1
     He succeeded as the 15th Lord Killeen [I., c. 1449] in 1738.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Fingall [I., 1628] in 1738.1

     Robert Plunkett, 6th Earl of Fingall was the son of James Plunkett and Mary Cusack.1 He married, firstly, Mary Magenis, daughter of Roger Magenis.1 He died in 1738.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Berkwick's Regiment, French Army.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Fingall [I., 1628] on 27 March 1734.1 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Killeen [I., c. 1449] on 27 March 1734.1
