Reverend Henry Joseph Maltby1

     Reverend Henry Joseph Maltby was born in 1813 at Buckden, Hampshire, England.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Edward Maltby.1 He married Elizabeth Mary Bradford, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Bradford and Mary Ann Atkinson, on 9 April 1847.1 He died on 24 November 1863 at Durham, County Durham, England.1
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Canon Residentiary of Durham.1

     Elizabeth Mary Bradford was born in 1822 at Midlothian, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas Bradford and Mary Ann Atkinson.1 She married Reverend Henry Joseph Maltby, son of Rt. Rev. Edward Maltby, on 9 April 1847.1 She died in 1906 at Droxford, Hampshire, England.2
     From 9 April 1847, her married name became Maltby.1
