Herbert William Shoubridge and Florence Mary Charlton.1 He married, firstly, Mary Travers Phillips in November 1902 at Bombay, India.1 He married, secondly, Mabel Geraldine Auber Smith.1 He died on 8 October 1928 at age 54 at Srinigar, India.1
He was educated in 1894 at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1
