     Johann Georg von Sachsen-Merseburg was born on 4 December 1652. He was the son of Christian I Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg and Christiana zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. He died on 3 January 1654 at age 1.

     Christian II Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg was born on 19 November 1653. He was the son of Christian I Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg and Christiana zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg. He married Erdmuth Dorothea von Sachsen-Zeitz, daughter of Moritz I Herzog von Sachsen-Zeitz and Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Weimar, on 14 October 1679. He died on 20 October 1694 at age 40.
     He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg.

     Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Weimar was born on 14 October 1641 at Weimar, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Herzog von Sachsen-Weimar and Eleonore Dorothea von Anhalt-Dessau. She married Moritz I Herzog von Sachsen-Zeitz, son of Johann Georg I Kurfürst von Sachsen and Magdalena Sybilla von Hohenzollern, on 3 July 1656 at Weimar, Germany^G. She died on 11 June 1675 at age 33.

     Christian August von Sachsen-Zeitz was born on 9 October 1666. He was the son of Moritz I Herzog von Sachsen-Zeitz and Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Weimar. He died on 23 August 1725 at age 58 at Regensburg, Germany^G.
     He held the office of Archbishop of Gran.

     Erdmuth Dorothea von Sachsen-Zeitz was born on 13 November 1661. She was the daughter of Moritz I Herzog von Sachsen-Zeitz and Dorothea Marie von Sachsen-Weimar. She married Christian II Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg, son of Christian I Herzog von Sachsen-Merseburg and Christiana zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 14 October 1679. She died on 28 April 1720 at age 58.

     Christine Magdalen von Sachsen-Zorbig was born on 11 September 1687 at Zorbig^G. She was the daughter of August Herzog von Sachsen-Zorbig and Hedwig Eleanore von Mecklenburg-Güstrow. She died on 21 March 1689 at age 1.

     Caroline Auguste von Sachsen-Zorbig was born on 10 March 1691 at Zorbig^G. She was the daughter of August Herzog von Sachsen-Zorbig and Hedwig Eleanore von Mecklenburg-Güstrow. She died on 23 September 1743 at age 52 at Zorbig^G.

     Hedwig Eleanor von Sachsen-Zorbig was born on 26 February 1693 at Zorbig^G. She was the daughter of August Herzog von Sachsen-Zorbig and Hedwig Eleanore von Mecklenburg-Güstrow. She died on 31 August 1693 at Zorbig^G.

     Gustav Friedrich von Sachsen-Zorbig was born on 28 October 1694 at Zorbig^G. He was the son of August Herzog von Sachsen-Zorbig and Hedwig Eleanore von Mecklenburg-Güstrow. He died on 24 May 1695 at Zorbig^G.

     August von Sachsen-Zorbig was born on 26 February 1696 at Zorbig^G. He was the son of August Herzog von Sachsen-Zorbig and Hedwig Eleanore von Mecklenburg-Güstrow. He died on 26 March 1696 at Zorbig^G.
