     Thomas Magnier was the son of Michael Joseph Magnier.² He married Evelyn Margaret Hallinan, daughter of Major Thomas Francis Dennehy Hallinan and Millicent Georgina Walshe, on 9 January 1947.¹ He died on 3 July 1962.¹

     He was educated at Sedbergh School, Sedbergh, Cumbria, England.¹ He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was manager of Spencer Company Ltd at Madras, India.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Battalion, Baluch Regiment, Indian Army.¹

     Champion Edward Branfill was the son of Lt.-Col. Benjamin Aylett Branfill. He died in 1890.

     Reverend Basil Staunton Batty was born in 1874 at Fulham, London, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend William Edmund Batty and Frances Beatrice Jebb.¹ He married Emily Kathleen Frances Foquett Sutton, daughter of Martin John Sutton and Emily Owen Foquett, in 1903 at Henley on Thames, London, England.¹

     Margaret Bell was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir Stanley Bell.¹ She married, firstly, Timothy Edward Hallinan, son of Major Thomas Francis Dennehy Hallinan and Millicent Georgina Walshe, on 17 January 1950.¹ She and Timothy Edward Hallinan were divorced in 1962. She married, secondly, James Fenton in 1963.²
     From 17 January 1950, her married name became Hallinan. From 1963, her married name became Fenton.²

     Diana Mary Hallinan was born on 19 May 1955.¹ She is the daughter of Timothy Edward Hallinan and Margaret Bell.²
