     Hilda Frances Coghlan Curling was born on 22 November 1900 at Eysthorne, Kent, England.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Ambrose Gordon Coghlan and Hilda Agnes Curling.¹ She married Dr. Hugh Selwyn Gaskell, son of Thomas Kynaston Gaskell and Horatia Octavia Hugo, on 17 November 1919 at Christ Church, Hougham, Dover, Kent, England.¹ She died on 15 January 1968 at age 67 at Dover, Kent, England.¹
     From 17 November 1919, her married name became Gaskell.¹
